Special Olympics Corner Brook is looking for volunteers and coaches. Corner Brook Vikings Club Chair Tony Bullen says all volunteers must have a code of conduct from the RNC. Bullen says there are 50 athletes and upwards of 28 volunteers at the moment. He says snowshoeing is set to start this weekend. Port Saunders RCMP nab motorcyclist who was speeding, stunting, and also fled from police
When police tried to speak with the driver, he fled in the opposite direction. In the interest of public safety, RCMP did not pursue the vehicle but started patrolling the Hawkes Bay and Port Saunders areas.
