Mayor Jim Parsons says it likely won’t be fixed until early spring since there are some issues with getting the bearings that are required.
Corner Brook City hall is still waiting for updates on the Lewin Parkway bridge over Main Street. Repairs to the bridge are held up due to getting bearings made. Councillor Vaghn Granter asked for an update during Monday night’s council meeting. Mayor Jim Parsons says it likely won’t be fixed until early spring since there are some issues with getting the bearings that are required. Back in January, a contract valued at approximately $1.3 million was awarded to complete repairs to two bridges on the Lewin Parkway.
