Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons says council knew funding for multi year capital work projects was approved late this summer and is just over $8 million. The city’s share for projects is about $3.5 million. Mayor Parsons says they’re waiting to hear back on some other funding. He says knowing how much funding is coming is necessary to plan major projects, like water and sewer and roads. Parsons says project designs will be done this winter and these projects will happen over the next few years.
