Swoop Airlines is being swept away. As part of the collective agreement signed with pilots, the company is phasing all 16 Swoop aircraft into its Westjet fleet. The ultra-low-cost airline, Swoop, will continue to operate until the end of October. Swoop offers cheap flights from Deer Lake to Ontario.

Corner Brook to launch evening and weekend on-demand transit service April 1st
At last night’s public meeting, council approved a change order for transit to allow the extended service hours for Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
