The Allan Gillespie Community Park in Massey Drive is open

    Sandra Gillespie says her husband would have been overwhelmed by this. More than 1600 people live in Massey Drive.

    Allan Gillespie was the Mayor of Massey Drive from 2017-2022 when he passed away. Yesterday, Gillespie’s family, politicians and guests gathered to honour his name with the unveiling of the Allan Gillespie Community Park. Mayor Don Brown says the day is about celebration. MHA Scott Reid says Allan Gillespie worked to make Massey Drive a place to live and raise a family. MP Gudie Hutchings says the people of Massey Drive are the envy of many communities in this country. Sandra Gillespie says her husband would have been overwhelmed by this. More than 1600 people live in Massey Drive.
