The good ol’ hockey game came back to Corner Brook in a big bucks way. Mayor Jim Parsons says due to covid, revenue was down at the Civic Centre. He says thankfully that’s changed and the return of the Corner Brook Royals is a big bonus. Parsons says over a thousand people attended each hockey game of the season bringing in over $100,000 in revenue.
