The town of Steady Brook is conducting a Radon study and they are looking for residents and businesses to take part. Radon is a radioactive gas and is odorless and comes from the breakdown of uranium in soil and rock. Testing is done to measure the levels of radon gas in indoor spaces to assess potential health risks. Anyone interested in participating in this study, contact the Town Office at (709) 634-7601.
