Thousands of dollars to be won at the Corner Brook Kin club's 12th annual Charity Golf Tournament next month

    There are some great prizes including $5,000 from Phontech, $10,000 from Wedgewood, Steers Insurance has donated a $10,000 prize and Marble RV is onboard with a hot tub valued at $15,000.

    The Corner Brook Kin club is gearing up for their 12th annual Charity Golf Tournament on July 6th. Since the event started, they’ve raised at least $100,000 for local charities. Long time members Mike Hoffe and Don Hutchings joined Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit to talk about the event and anyone can register as a team or extra player. There are some great prizes including $5,000 from Phontech, $10,000 from Wedgewood, Steers Insurance has donated a $10,000 prize and Marble RV is onboard with a hot tub valued at $15,000. The cost is $300 for a team of 4. To date, the Corner Brook Kin have donated $3 million to local non-profit community groups.
