Three west coast projects to share nearly $60K in funding to boost investment and food security

    The city of Corner Brook is getting slightly more than $46K to secure a consultant to conduct an industrial park feasibility study and to enhance accessibility at Bartlett’s Point Park.

    Government has announced nearly $60K for three projects on the west coast. The city of Corner Brook is getting slightly more than $46K to secure a consultant to conduct an industrial park feasibility study and to enhance accessibility at Bartlett’s Point Park. In a separate project, the city will also receive $7,500 to engage professional services to conduct a feasibility study on the establishment of a farmers’ market. The Qalipu Mi'kmaq First Nation will receive just over $5,8)) to support Qalipu business owners through increased marketing, production of content and member business profiles within the western region. Funding will help boost the area’s potential for investment attraction, as well as provincial food security.
