Time to nominate local businesses for excellence awards

    The Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade has opened nominations for their Business Excellence awards.

    The Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade has opened nominations for their Business Excellence awards. There are a number of categories including beautification, customer service, online presence, rising star, community investment, excellence in energy efficiency, business legacy, youth business, Qalipu business, female entrepreneur, people’s choice and hall of fame. In order to qualify, businesses must be in the Corner Brook, Bay of Islands, Humber Valley or Deer Lake areas. All nominations must include details explaining why the business is being nominated. Submissions must be received at the Greater Corner Brook Board of Trade by 5 pm on Friday September 8th. The awards will be presented during Small Business Week.
