Each year, the Corner Brook Winter Carnival selects a patron of carnival, honouring past work and attendance at various events during ten days of winter fun. Vicky Rose has been selected as the 51st Corner Brook Winter Carnival patron. She says carnival is a big part of her life. Rose tells Bayfm’s Lenny Bennoit, it feels pretty important, almost like royalty. Rose is also a committee member and says events are selling out fast.
