NLSchools says at this time, it is not safe for schools to engage our buses to do the afternoon run home and we therefore believe that on-time dismissal is highly unlikely.

There have been a number of closures announced due to inclement weather. Corner Brook Transit pulled buses from the streets at 1pm. A reassessment will take place tomorrow morning to see if they can resume service. All Competitive and Recreational Saltos programming is cancelled for today. The Provincial and Supreme Courts in Corner Brook closed for the day, and both CNA and Grenfell Campus have also closed. A message from NLSchools says at this time, it is not safe for schools to engage our buses to do the afternoon run home and we therefore believe that on-time dismissal is highly unlikely. Please know your students are safe and secure at the school, where we will ensure their continued safety until the weather passes and we are able to have buses bring students home. There may be a window later this afternoon where we will be able to complete the bus runs home and we will update families as soon as possible. Also, Puppy play sessions and basic obedience classes, with Pawsitive Training NL, are cancelled for tonight due to the weather.
