    YMCA will operate the daycare at the new Corner Brook Recreation Centre

    YMCA will pay the city of Corner Brook $1000 a month for the exclusive right to operate a daycare. 

    The YMCA of Western Newfoundland will operate the new 32 space daycare at the Corner Brook Regional Recreation centre. Council  approved the operating agreement at Monday night’s meeting. Councillor Vaughn Granter says a request for proposals was issued in January and closed in February with only one submission received. YMCA will pay the city of Corner Brook $1000 a month for the exclusive right to operate a daycare.
