Mia Pardy has been bowling for the last four years and is looking forward to the trip.

It’s practice and preparation for a group of young bowlers from Corner Brook as they get ready to head to the National bowling tournament in Edmonton on May 2nd. Nine players are heading out to represent the province in both singles and team games, but one of them has a special parallel connection. Ten year old Mia Pardy and her mom Carolyn dropped into the Bayfm studios for a chat this week (wednesday). Carolyn says Mia will be competing at the exact same place she did 30 years ago and won the bronze. Mia has been bowling for the last four years and is looking forward to the trip. She is bowling in the Bantam division and also has an active life with other sports like volleyball, basketball, running, swimming and baseball. The Bowling Nationals in Edmonton will take place May 5th to the 7th at the Bonnie Doon Bowling Alley.
