Westside Tabernacle is getting help to deliver 475 meals on Christmas day, still need to raise more

The Westside Tabernacle is thankful for the generosity from the public to be able to prepare 475 Christmas dinners to be delivered throughout Corner Brook. On Friday, Pastor Jeremy Simms visited Bayfm to give an update. The group had met capacity within ten days of registration for the dinners, a twenty plus yearly tradition that includes a turkey dinner and all the fixings, chocolates and a gift for each small child. Pastor Simms says since Friday, a number of groups and people have called to help. He says the need has doubled this year and they still need to raise about $2000. They need turnip, peas, salt meat, pop and chocolates. To donate or help call 634-2513
