Snow Squall Warning in effect for:
Corner Brook and vicinity, Deer Lake and The Humber Valley
A prolonged period of snow squalls producing blizzard-like conditions is expected or occurring.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm with locally up to 40 cm in snow squalls.
Maximum wind gusts: southwesterly to westerly near 60 km/h.
Locations: Corner Brook and vicinity, Gros Morne, and Deer Lake and vicinity.
Time span: today through Wednesday. Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons joins Lenny on Bay Fm to take about snowclearing in the city.
