Summer time in NL means road construction and the RCMP is offering some traffic safety reminders for motorists.
Traffic Services West Cst Derek Hayden says drivers need to pay attention to signage. He says driving conditions in parts of the west coast are not the best at this time and there is a lot of construction activity. Hayden says the biggest infraction they are seeing is speeding and passing. He says enforcement is for safety; a lot of these road workers are locals and someone’s loved one wanting to return home.
