The Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands has plans to do some harvesting and build some access roads in an area from Deer Lake to Cat Arm and includes the whole Baie Verte Peninsula. The 5-year plan was registered with the Environment department on August 6th and public comments are due by September 11th. A decision is expected by September 20th.
